Demi Lovato is feeling “grateful” as 2024 begins.
On Sunday night, Lovato, 31, shared a preview of 2023 that included fun videos and selfies with fiancé Jordan “Jutes” Lutes. The compilation was set to Inner Circle’s “What a Year” and included the lyrics, “What a year it’s been. And I just want to say, I’m grateful.”
“2023 🥹🖤 happy new year!” Lovato — who uses the pronouns she/them — wrote in the accompanying Instagram caption. In the video, the singer looked in a great mood as she kissed Lute, danced with her friends and jumped into the pool.
“The best year of my life with you 🥰🥰🥰 I love you so much,” Jutes commented on the happy review.
Lovato also filmed the bike ride, as well as several stylish looks and the moment when Jutes (32) proposed, which happened on December 16.

The two musicians — who met in January 2022 while collaborating on SAINT FVCK the song “Substance” and began dating in August of that year — they celebrated their engagement at Craig’s, a restaurant in Los Angeles, surrounded by family and friends.

A few days later, the couple spent Christmas together for the first time. Lovato recently told PEOPLE that last year, Jutes flew home to his native Ottawa for the holidays, making this year extra special.
“This year is our first Christmas together,” the star revealed. “His mom will be joining us, so I’m excited about that.”
In addition to their engagement, this holiday season has also been an exciting one for the “Cool For the Summer” singer, marked by her album release A very demi holiday specialon the Roku channel.
For the one-hour special, the singer-songwriter enlisted a handful of famous friends to participate in seasonal activities, including singer JoJo, model/entrepreneur Hailey Baldwin Bieber, reality star Paris Hilton, drag star Trixie Mattel and comedian Tiffany Haddish.

Before the project aired on Dec. 8, Lovato told PEOPLE why the special is “really hard to miss.”
“I love holidays. They’re so fun and they mean a lot to me, so I had to say yes,” said Lovato.
