To mark the occasion, Moore put her own twist on the classic film.

“Jules would love Brat Girl Summer. Happy 39th birthday #StElmosFire!” Moore captioned Instagram Reels. The clip featured a video compilation of Moore as her romance character Jules — a member of the seven-member group that later became known as the “Brat Pack.”

The film also starred Emilio Estevez, Andrew McCarthy, Rob Lowe, Ally Sheedy and Judd Nelson.

Perhaps all is forgiven, as Moore’s Instagram post on Friday celebrated St. Elmo’s fire anniversaries with an interesting musical choice — Charli XCX’s song “365,” from her sixth studio album Brat.
