Demi Moore continues her style hot streak at the Cannes Film Festival!
The 61-year-old actress graced the red carpet at the film’s premiere on Friday, May 17 Kinds of kindness in a stunning Giorgio Armani Privé gown with red beading and floral detailing. The floor-length column gown featured a v-neck detail and intricate beading. She also wore striking Chopard earrings that matched the pattern of the dress.
Her signature long, dark hair was extended to her waist, giving the look an extra dose of drama and glamour.
Moore’s own film, Substancepremiere at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival on Monday, May 20. The upcoming horror film also stars Dennis Quaid and Margaret Qualley.
Not much is known about the plot Substance, but the official Cannes website provides an ominous description of the film that reads: “Have you ever dreamed of a better version of yourself? You should try this new product: The Substance. It changed my life. With The Substance you can create another version of yourself, younger, more beautiful, more perfect… Just share the time. One week for one, one week for another. A perfect balance of seven days. Easy right? If you follow the instructions, what could go wrong?”

Later on Friday evening, Moore changed into another gorgeous ensemble to attend the Trophee Chopard ceremony. At the ceremony, Moore served as “godmother of the Trophee Chopard,” whose role is to present the annual award “to an actress and actor who have become a promising star in their careers,” according to a press release. This year, Moore will present the award Talk to me star Sophie Wild and Challengers star Mike Faist.Moore dazzled in a turquoise sequined Balenciaga dress with cone detailing at the hips and wore sparkling Chopard jewels to complete the look. Her Haute Joaillerie collection necklace features 70.40 carats of paraiba tourmaline and 43.38 carats of diamonds in 18k white gold.

Moore’s glamorous appearance in Cannes comes on the heels of her impressive appearance at the Met Gala 2024. For the event on Monday, May 6, the actress wore a black column gown by Harris Reed. The dress featured a pink and white floral design and a spiky heart-shaped structural element. She accessorized with Cartier diamond jewelry.

Moore’s dark hair was sleek and straight, and her make-up – courtesy of Charlotte Tilbury – was soft and glamorous.
Talking to Ashley Graham on Vogue on the red carpet, Moore said her dress “wasn’t heavy at all” and actually made her “want to rumba.” Reed also revealed that Moore’s dress was made of wallpaper.

“It all started with this incredible Cartier necklace that Demi is wearing,” the designer told Graham. “It’s inspired by the floral feeling it gave me. The whole piece is made from vintage archival wallpaper. We changed it. It’s 11,000 hours of silk embroidery that we repurposed into this idea of her blooming on the carpet. I wanted to be the vine to her thorns.”
In keeping with the “Garden of Time” dress code, Moore also shared that the flower on her dress was a chloris, “which [named for the] Greek. . . nymph of plants and flowers.”
