Kane Brown’s daughters are excited to welcome their newest sibling.
Speaking with Party tonight at the 2024 ACM Awards, the country singer, 30, said that while his older daughter Kingsley, 4, is excited to get a new sibling, his younger daughter Kodi Jane, 2, doesn’t understand the situation.
“Kodi can’t really explain how he feels because he’s two years old,” Brown told the news outlet. “But Kingsley is, like, so excited. [She] protects Kate every time Kodi tries to be rough with her, she says, ‘The baby’s in mommy’s belly, stop it.’ ”
While the family is excited to welcome their newest addition, the “I Can Feel It” singer revealed that he and his wife Katelyn are done expanding their family with child no. 3.
“Oh yeah, we’re done,” he said. – The third one surprised us.

In March, Brown appeared on The Bobby Bones Show and talked about his feelings towards welcoming a boy this year. The musician revealed that his wife Katelyn encouraged him to get a vasectomy after they found out she was unexpectedly pregnant again.
“I’m afraid for three,” he admitted on the podcast, adding, “I guess it was God’s plan.”
After the baby news, Brown said his wife of five years urged him to get a vasectomy — which he eventually did. “Kate has already castrated me,” he joked.
“She was telling me you have to take it,” Brown explained. “And every time she would say that or say that to someone, man, my stomach just makes me sick. Man, I can’t do it.”
Brown and his wife revealed in December 2023 that they were expecting their third child by sharing a photo on Instagram of them together with their two daughters, who showed off a sonogram.
The couple captioned the post, “Last Christmas of 4 🎄❤️ Merry Christmas everyone!!” while several of their famous friends – including Taylor Lautner, Cole Swindell and Russell Dickerson – congratulated them.
Speaking at the February 2024 People’s Choice Awards pre-show, Brown said his daughters were “so excited” to add another member to their family.
“The oldest thing you know is you’re always touching my wife’s belly and I’m so happy we’re going to grow a family,” he explained of Kingsley.
