Denise Welch broke down in tears on Loose Women on Monday as she recalled a time in her life when she was attacked by a news group.
The actress, who recently confronted a former Sunday Mirror reporter who admitted to hacking her, became emotional as she explained the impact the tabloid articles had on her two sons. she is Matty, 34 years old and Louis, 22 years old.

After explaining that she believed her privacy had been unlawfully violated over a six-year period, Denise went on to say, “Did I do something wrong? Yes, of course I did? I’ve always said, if you do something to yourself in the middle of a nightclub with someone you shouldn’t be with and the popes are taking pictures of you, the police are honest.”
“But everything about me was illegally acquired,” she continued as she began to cry. “When you have to tell your 12-year-old, ‘Tomorrow there’s going to be a story about me that will really affect your life’.”

Trying to calm down, she continued: “For years, I didn’t trust anyone because they always knew where I was. I blamed the people I worked with for the arguments in the hotel room and I have target behind.”

Denise recently sat down with former Sunday Mirror reporter Graham Johnson for an interview hosted by ITV.
Denise only discovered she had been hacked after Graham went to the police and admitted to intercepting the voicemails. He was conditionally sentenced in 2014.
In 2016, Mirror Group Newspaper apologized to Denise and compensated her for illegally intercepting her voicemail and obtaining her personal information.

Speaking of meeting Graham, Denise said: “I feel better when I hear that from the horse’s mouth. I understand that he’s not trying to feel sorry for himself, he has a family to feed on and he is. said everyone hacks so go hack or you will lose your job.
