The Stormchaser linear fusion rifle is a brand new weapon Destiny 2 Whether it’s a divine scroll or a specific combination of archetypes, it’s the first of its kind. The Stormchaser has an aggressive frame, especially on the Linear Fusion Rifle, which allows it to fire three-round bursts. The Linear Fusion Rifle is already one of the best damage dealers against bosses, and the Stormchaser’s three-round burst can push those damage numbers ahead of any other weapon of this type.
One of the challenges in obtaining the Storm Chaser Scroll is that the weapon cannot be crafted destiny 2, so the Guardians have to rely on RNG to get what they’re looking for. Fortunately, there are multiple encounters in the Binary Dungeon that reward this weapon, as well as two secret chests.Like all secret chests in dungeons and raids Destiny 2, the two weapons found in Duality will only reward players with the new Linear Fusion Rifle (if they previously obtained it in the collection). This means, for example, that the Stormchaser can be found in the Secret Chest when the player completes Duality on the Warlock for the first time, if the player’s Hunter or Titan has already received the weapon.
Storm Chasers can only be obtained from Sanctuary and Kallus’s Biggest Shame Encounter, and can then be reacquired from Secret Chests. The first secret chest is located in a room with four Cabal statues inside a doorway along the wall. Near the tenth repressed memory location in the Binary Dungeon, under the white structure of the Carus vault, there is an opening that will lead to a second secret chest.
The Best Stromchaser Perks in Destiny 2
The high amount of damage the Storm Chaser deals in three bursts makes it capable of defeating enemy Guardians with body shots in PvP. As with all Linear Fusion Rifles, the best barrels for Stormchaser include Arrow Brake, Spiral, Hammer Forged, and Fluted barrels. However, especially for PvE activities, Guardians may choose the extended barrel or small bore barrel purely for the advantages of range and stability. Enhanced Batteries and Ion Batteries are both better suited for PvE, while Particle Repeaters and Projected Fuses are best for PvP activities. However, Speed Coils and Liquid Coils are the best generic battery perks for Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit events. destiny 2. Finally, Stormchaser has some great third and fourth column combinations:
- 1. Clown Cartridge/Firewire – This is the Storm Chaser’s scroll, although Firewire requires two other allies to trigger.
- 2. Jester Cartridges/Decapitation Weapons, Frenzy – Although Decapitation Weapons and Frenzy do less % damage to the boss compared to the firing line, they are easier to activate.
- 3. Autoloading/Firing Line, Vorpal Weapon, Frenzy – Autoloading is a good alternative to the Joker cartridge.
- 4. Rapid Hit/Fire Line, Vorpal Weapon, Frenzy – Rapid Hit increases the stability and reload speed of each pinpoint hit, quickly stacking with the Storm Chaser’s three-round burst.
