Devki Nandan was born on November 12, 1978 in Oharva village of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh to a Brahmin family. He was inclined towards spirituality and developed a keen interest in spirituality from an early age. At the age of 6, Devkinandan left home for Vrindavan. There he studied the Sastras, the Vedas and the Bhagavad Gita. He used to participate in theater performances in Vrindavan. He met his spiritual master Purushottam Sharan Shastri in Vrindavan.

Profession

He has been actively preaching the Bhagavad Gita and Ramakata since 2001. In order to promote Buddhism, he traveled all over the country and abroad. He founded Vishwa Shanti Sewa Charitable Trust to spread peace in the world. His work has been praised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mathura MP Hema Malini and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. For his charity work, the Uttar Pradesh government awarded him the UP Ratna Award.
