Facts About Diana Lovejoy
Diana Lovejoy was once just a middle-aged American lady working on to care for her son while managing her divorce and working. She rose to fame in 2016 after attempting to murder her ex-husband, Greg Mulvihill. To make matters even stranger, she had begun an affair with the man she had recruited to carry out the idea, Welton McDavid. Their preparations failed and they were eventually captured by the police. Following a quick trial, Lovejoy and her accomplice were found guilty and sentenced to heavy prison terms.
Diana Lovejoy, who was born in 1978 in California, was a small girl long before she made headlines for a murder-for-hire scheme. Her nationality is American, and she is Caucasian. There are few specifics regarding her family history, although she has an aunt named Diana Clark. Lovejoy grew raised in Mountain View, California, and graduated from Mountain View High School.
Following that, she earned a bachelor of arts in literature and writing from the University of California, San Diego. Lovejoy achieved in both academics and athletics during her college career. She was a member of the collegiate swim team at her school. She was also named to the provost’s honors list four years in a row, from 1991 to 1995, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society.
Diana Lovejoy left school in 1995 to work as a marketing communications consultant for her aunt’s company, the Diana Clark Co. She went on to work as a technical writer for companies like Websense and IBS Interpret/Irdeto. She also worked as a freelance writer and copywriter for a while. Diana Lovejoy decided to focus on athletics instead of writing from October 2008 until July 2012.
After Lovejoy accused her husband of sexual assault, the couple divorced in 2014.
Diana Lovejoy and Greg Mulvihill had a few years of pleasure following the birth of their son, but things began to fall apart in 2014 when Mulvihill lost his job. Lovejoy was obliged to work full-time and become the breadwinner, while her husband became the primary carer for their son. The stress of the situation most likely wore on her, and by mid-2014, she was complaining of health difficulties such as fibromyalgia. She also thought their son was sick.
Lovejoy and her accomplice, Welton McDavid
All of this proved to be wrong, and by July 2014, Diana Lovejoy had changed her mind. She filed an order of protection against her husband after accusing him of assaulting both her and their children. Such a serious claim indicated the end of their marriage, and they immediately filed for divorce. Mulvihill also continued to try to visit his son. He was first banned from doing so because of Lovejoy’s charges, but the charges were eventually proven to be false. He was finally permitted supervised and then unsupervised visits with his son.
Lovejoy was one of the first suspects the cops investigated at, but she denied everything. The police, on the other hand, conducted an in-depth inquiry and discovered her connection to McDavid. They discovered CCTV footage of her purchasing the burner phone she used to call Greg. They also found the guns used on McDavid’s property. As a result, they charged the two of them with a murder plan and attempted murder.
