Diane Keaton is known for her legendary personal style and longtime love of home design. So naturally, she directs both of them to a new collection of decorations!
The Literary club actress, 78, teamed up with Hudson Grace for the brand’s first collaboration. Featuring decor, kitchenware and pet accessories, the line is a perfect fit for Keaton, who has had an eye for interior design for years — she’s published a book on the subject and shared several of her residences.
“The collection is timeless,” Keaton tells PEOPLE. “The pieces are not of one particular type of design and are created for those who love family, friends and, most importantly, furry friends!”
There’s one pup in particular that Keaton kept in mind during the creative process: her golden retriever, Reggie. When asked what her favorite piece of homeware is, she admits, “I’d have to say all the dog stuff…because of Reggie.”

“Dog beds, biscuits, dog bowls and even a door closer. She is the first,” he says. “But between us, I love everything else. I love casual California Chic linen bedding. It’s not hard, and even Reggie can jump on the bed!”
The Family stone the star’s other highlights include a “woody and earthy” candle she created with the brand. “It’s perfection,” she says.
Perhaps one of the most colorful components of the line is the custom shade of red that Hudson Grace created for some of the bolder items — a departure from Keaton’s usual all-neutral palette.

“I love the fact that there’s color: Keaton Red! I guess I’m known for my love of black and white and this might surprise you,” she jokes to PEOPLE. “Have you seen the Fire bucket? Pure genius if you ask me.”
The playful yet subtle touches to Keaton’s style come courtesy of Hudson Grace co-founder Monelle Totah.
“Fortunately, I was lucky with Monelle. She gets the design and most importantly she gets the aesthetic that I love,” says Keaton. “Believe me when I say that I would have any of these pieces in my home.”

Totah told PEOPLE that she and the Oscar-winning actress became “fast friends” when the star came to her store in Brentwood years ago to buy bowls and dish detergent.
“That’s when we realized that she equally appreciates inspiring space and timeless design. For our first product collaboration, we wanted to work with someone who shares the same eclectic, witty style as Hudson Grace,” Totah tells PEOPLE. “There is no one who defines our iconic aesthetic better than Diana Keaton!”

Some of her favorite pieces from the collaboration overlap with Keaton’s.
“Our HOUSE candle – not only is it beautiful, but it has an amazing signature scent made just for Diane, with notes of cardamom, blue sage, olive bark and vetiver,” she says. “I’m also excited that we’re expanding our bedding category with a washed linen collection with mix and match knit gingham check bedding sets.”
Above all, Totah says the powerful team wanted the collection to be fun and accessible at the same time, emulating a “playful irreverence.” Father of the bride the star’s own home.

“The signature black and white colors of Diane’s home are a staple of this collection, adding a modern touch to pieces that you can use in your home for years to come,” she says. “We wanted fun colors throughout the collection, so we created a ‘Keaton Red’ shade based on red splashed across the neutral color palette of Diane’s home.”

Totah, who reveals that Hudson Grace has been working with Keaton on this project for over a year, says the collection embodies Keaton’s “flair for modern classics.”
“The collection is for anyone and everyone who loves their home and likes to simply entertain – but isn’t afraid to set up their desk or bed with a bit of humor,” she says.
