Robin Windsor is therefore considered to have committed suicide. Robin opened up about his struggle with depression after breaking up with his fiancee. His friend Vincent said Robin’s struggles began before he was booted off Strictly in 2015 due to back surgery which left him in bed for 3 months. Vincent said Robin spoke about feeling depressed during the final season of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 before he split from his fiancee Davide Cini. Vincent said: “But I almost lost count of his boys. He wasn’t the type to sleep around, but he wanted a serious relationship. He was looking for love, marriage, something serious.
