Ryan Higa, who has been in the sketch game on YouTube for over a decade, opened up about his breakup with longtime girlfriend Arden Cho in a March 15, 2020 video on his YouTube. After the breakup, the YouTuber was bombarded with cheating rumors, which he denied in tweets.
Discovering their relationship
After playing each other’s love interests in Higa’s short film “Agents of Secret Stuff” in 2010, their fans sent YouTube sensation and actress Cho. On the other hand, in March 2019, Higa finally revealed that he had been in a relationship with the actress for almost four years. In a video titled “Revealing My Not-So-Secret GF,” the YouTuber stated that the couple never intended to keep their relationship a secret, but have been holding off on making it public.

Higa started the video by apologizing to fans for not posting anything last week. The YouTube sensation admitted that the missing post was due to his trip to Los Angeles for Valentine’s Day with his girlfriend Cho. Higa revealed in the video that he fell in love with the actress in 2015, after their second collaboration, and that they have been together ever since.
All good things must come to an end
A year after announcing their relationship, the YouTube sketch artist revealed the couple’s breakup. On March 15, 2020, Higa released a video titled “My Midlife Crisis”, revealing that he had recently broken up with his girlfriend of five years, actress Cho.
In the video, the YouTuber apologized to his fans for not following his content and explained that part of the reason was his suspension. Higa revealed that although he is not the type of person to talk about his relationships, many of his fans guessed his breakup based on his social media posts. And all he wanted to do was to inform his fans on YouTube. The YouTuber revealed in the video that the break was not sharp, but somewhat mutual.
Allegations of cheating
Following Higa’s video post, Cho reportedly posted a cryptic message on her Instagram story implying that the YouTuber had cheated on her during their relationship. Cho revealed in her series of stories that she is working on another sad song. The verses she published in her story were as follows:
I despise you and all your lies. I wish I could go back in time / to a better day before I called you mine. Many of Cho’s fans assumed that the song was written in Ryan’s honor. The YouTuber was quick to debunk the rumors with a Tweet admitting he didn’t cheat on Cho.
