In August 2022, he won a silver medal in the lawn bowls four-a-side event and competed with teammates Navneet Singh and Chandan Kumar Singh at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Chandan Kumar Singh and Sunil Bahadur made history together. In the final, the Indian lawn bowls team lost to England 5-18 at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa.
