Dodgers Pitcher Bobby Miller Collapses to the Mound After Struck by 106 MPH Baseball to the Head

Los Angeles Dodgers Bobby Miller Bacter hit the head of a fast ball during spring training against Chicago Cubs on Thursday, February 20th.

Miller, 25, was hit in the head when the first Cubs -based Michael Busch base hit a speed of 105.5 mph during the third inning.

Miller hit the temple, inhaling his hat off his head. He immediately squeezed his head as he collapsed to the ground. Although his head was injured and had a huge red brand, he slowly came down from the ground before the medical staff arrived on the field.

Miller could get off the field himself and got out of the game, the first from spring training 2025.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said after the match that the team is not sure how much Miller will be out.

“It was good to see him going from the field. I don’t think we’re getting any X-rays right now,” Roberts told reporters, according to Dodgers Nation. “When I was on the embankment, he did not express any pain. I think it will somehow be too gross, lie low.”
