Ηiggins was a puppy when he first entered the shelter and was immediately adopted. Unfortunately, he won’t be there forever. Ηiggins returned to the shelter in 2012.
He is said to have been locked in a doghouse in his first home. Leslie Renner, executive director of the Humane Society of Reble County in Ohio, announced that he had been re-adopted and that a year later, someone entered the shelter carrying a feral, chemically infected dog. so it’s him.
No one cares and no one is looking for him.
Whenever Ηiggins was mentioned, Leslie would hear the same question over and over again: “Why don’t you put him to bed?”
Leslie isn’t ready for you until she finds Ηiggins a permanent home, even though the shelter’s oldest inmate has lived most of his life behind bars.
More importantly, Ηiggins didn’t want to give up trying to find a place to call home.
The number of people who can adopt this dog is less because it feels more comfortable being alone and away from other animals. Leslie knew that he should have waited until the correct decision was made, but ρoor Ηiggins was repeatedly ignored.
“We want puppies or dogs 6 months old. I was one year old when he came back, then two, then three.
After spending so much time in the shelter, potential adopters believed that something was wrong with Ηiggins. If he’s not there year after year, why is he?
Βrendon Reed, 22, who just moved into his first home, entered the shelter on Ηiggins Day 2381 and said:
I came to bring Ηiggins back to his house.
