Don Jazzy, whose real name is Michael Collins Ajereh, was born in Lagos State and raised in a family in Ajegunle. Jazzy completed his education at the Federal Government College, Lagos before continuing his studies in Business Management at the Ambrose Alli University in Edo State.

Don Jazzy worked with D’Banja on the production of the albums “No Long Thing” and “Rundown/Funk You Up” for Mo’ Hits Records in 2005 and 2006.
