The ring on Taylor Swift’s #87 jersey she wore to Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs football game was even more sentimental than we thought.
Not only is it Travis Kelce’s boyfriend’s number, and not only did it come from a woman-owned small business based in Kansas City, but it came from Donna Kelce herself.
Emily Bordner, owner and creative director of EB and Co., is the creative behind the Chiefs-themed jewelry. She recently told local news outlet KMBC that she already has a fan in Donna, so she sent her some new pieces in hopes of passing them along to the “Anti-Hero” singer.
“We gave Donna a few pairs as gifts. We know she loved our earrings. So we wanted to give her even more Kelce themed products. So we sent them to her and then we hoped she would give them to Taylor. And she did,” Bordner said. .

Eagle-eyed fans would have noticed that Donna wore complementary earrings to match Swift’s #87 ring at Sunday’s AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens. The tiny Chiefs jersey earrings could be seen on Mama Kelce’s TikTok shared by the NFL. (Appropriately, it’s a video of Donna and Swift hugging.)
Since Swift was photographed wearing the $14 accessory to the game — which earned the Chiefs a spot in the Super Bowl on Feb. 11 — Bordner now has more work than he knows what to do with.
“It’s just been a crazy whirlwind and we’re just trying to take advantage of everything we can and sell as much as we can and show how much we appreciate Donna and Taylor and everybody,” she told KMBC.

This wouldn’t be the first time Swift has made a difference for a local Kansas City business since she started dating Travis and wearing her Chiefs-themed merchandise to games. When Swift wore bracelets from local brand Erimish earlier in the season — including the “Trav” bracelet and the “87” bracelet — it caused a boom in business.
Sisters Misha Wilson and Ericka Hamilton, the duo behind Erimish, told PEOPLE last fall, “We’ve amassed a whole new following and customer base. We’re so excited! We’ve always had products for all ages, but this really caught the eye as much as our selection diverse.”
Wilson added, “We can’t keep the Swiftie/KC set in stock! Everything else is custom, so it’s made to order, but we’ve definitely kept our girls busy with those orders.”

Also during Sunday night’s AFC Championship game, Swift wore several other statement pieces of jewelry. Around her neck she wore a chain with the Chiefs logo. The piece was from WEAR by Erin Andrews x BaubleBar ($44) and featured “Chiefs Kingdom” on the other side of the pendant.
She also wore a “TNT” diamond tennis bracelet for Taylor and Travis of Wove and Michelle Wie West. The bracelet was custom-made (at Travis’ request) for Swift in her home state of Pennsylvania, and fans can make it their own with their initials ($5,680+).
Swift also wore a Mejuri Heirloom Garnet Signet Ring ($598) and Opal Diamond Hoop Earrings ($2,830) by WWAKE. The singer has spoken about her love for opals in the past, but they are also Kelce’s birthstone.
