But it wasn’t Travis himself, Donna certainly notes, pointing out his Chiefs teammates who all contributed to the winning effort that sent the reigning champions to Las Vegas to defend their Super Bowl title.

“Everything just fell into place. Everything worked so well and I was amazed at how everyone was able to come together like that,” says Donna. Travis said on his New heights podcast that playing in the championship game for the fourth time in five years “means a little more.”

Donna agrees, telling PEOPLE, “It’s so hard to get there and to be able to get there twice in a row, this was very special.”

It was an experience the mom of two NFL stars says “doesn’t happen” very often because of her sons’ football schedules.

“For me, being able to watch with him while we watch with his brother was once in a lifetime… This was amazing,” shares Donna, adding that both of her sons “achieved so much more than [she] could ever dream.”

In addition to watching Travis with Jason, Donna cheered him on from the box with his girlfriend Taylor Swift. She also gave PEOPLE an exclusive look into their fun suite!

“The camaraderie of everyone in the suite” and “making sure you enjoy your time while you’re there” is what Donna says is “most” of what they do while watching the game.
