Deon Derrico is putting his health and family first after his divorce from Karen Derrico.
A few days after news of the couple’s split, Duplication with the Derricos star (53) shared a message about what is most important to him.
“When you have nothing else in this world, as long as you have your excellent health and family, nothing else matters!” he shared on Instagram alongside a photo of his 14 children and mother, Marian “GG” Derrico.

Deon and Karen — who married in 2005 — filed for divorce on June 4, and it became official two days later, on June 6, when a judge signed off on the divorce, according to TMZ.
They now share legal and physical custody of their 13 minor children, according to legal documents obtained by the paper. Deon will reportedly pay $1,166 a month in child support, and Karen will be responsible for paying for the children’s health insurance.
In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE following the news of their divorce, Karen and Deon said, “Together, we remain united in parenting our 14 beautiful children — their well-being is our priority.”
“We thank everyone for their understanding and support as we move forward for the benefit of our family.”

The former couple are parents to 13-year-old Derrick, 12-year-old twins Dallas and Denver, 10-year-old quintuplets Deonee, Daician, Daiten, Denik and Dariz, 6-year-old Diez and Dior, and 4-year-old triplets Dawsyn, De’Aren and Dyver. . (Elder daughter Darian is 18 years old.)
The fifth season of the TLC family show, which premiered in 2020, is currently airing and features Karen and Deon juggling their children while also looking for a new house, which is “an eternal process and puts a strain on Deon and Karen’s marriage,” according to the official synopsis.
