Dr. B. Ramana Rao filed a case against Hemanth Kashyap, who works for Kannada News Channel Public Television, accusing him of blackmailing him into paying Rs. 5 million. Hemanth threatened him to leak his personal videos on TV channels. He extorted Rs. Dr. Rao gave Rs 5 lakh and asked for more money.
