Dr. Hemant Kalra was born in Delhi. He grew up in a wealthy family in Delhi. Kalra is a medical graduate (MBB) at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAULANA Azad Medical College, and is affiliated with the University of Delhi (1995). He then completed his MD (tuberculosis and respiratory disease/lung medicine) from Vallabhbhai Patel’s chest research institute (2004). Subsequently, Kalra obtained the tuberculosis and chest disease (DTCD) Diploma (DTCD) (DTCD) of the Della Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of chest (2006). He also has the European Respiratory Medical Diploma in the European Respiratory Society (2010).
