Sometimes a goofy blob of pink flesh, sometimes a muscular menace, Buu’s forms vary so much that they could count as entirely separate characters.
Buu is best remembered as Goku’s power-hungry rival, but that wasn’t always the case. Some of his incarnations don’t have much power at all.
Mr. Buu
Mr. Buu must be the weakest version of Buu; his essence has become separated from that of innocent Buu. As a result, he lost the cohesion of his entire self and split into a good side and an evil side.With this in mind, as eloquently stated space ball“The Black Helmet” said: “Evil will always triumph, because justice is foolish.”
This version of Buu is the “good” part of Innocent Buu, meaning he doesn’t have the killer instinct that many other forms have. He also has very little power relative to the others, as he can’t absorb energy through his body like he used to, nor can he build strength as easily as before. The guy still has a ton of raw power – he’s still Buu, after all – but, compared to his other versions, he’s pretty docile.
Innocent Buu
Innocent Buu may sound like a less intimidating name, but the word “innocent” is relative. This version of Buu still possesses extraordinary powers, and he’s not afraid to use them to destroy things and people who stand in his way. In fact, he sometimes destroys things just for fun.
Buu actually lacks a moral compass; he’s not afraid to engage in criminal activity, even mass murder, and he actually takes great pleasure in the horrific acts he commits. He didn’t have the ability to understand at the beginning that the pain and death he brought were actually bad things, but once Taishang Kai told him, he was willing to change his ways.
Fat Buu
As his name suggests, Fat Buu doesn’t appear to be a huge threat to anyone. Appearances can be deceiving, however, and this Buu possesses some of the same extraordinary absorption abilities as his other forms – which is saying something, since in his previous form, he had successfully absorbed the Supreme Kai of the South. Later, he was transformed into Fat Buu by the Great Kaiowen.
In this form, Buu is a hybrid. On the one hand, he has tremendous raw power. However, Kai seemed to have a tempering influence on Buu’s raw power. Since he had been sealed by Bibidi before, Goku has the ability to defeat him. Plus, his main weapon is the Chocolate Beam, and while many fans would be crazy about this move in real life, it’s not very scary.
Evil Buu
Unlike some silly transformation names, “Evil Buu” sounds like the name of a villain who shouldn’t be underestimated. Evil Buu is the opposite of Mr. Buu, representing the darker side of Buu’s character, and this collection of dark energy makes Evil Buu a very dangerous customer indeed.
His gray skin, deep voice, and dramatic purple cape definitely give him the look of a supervillain. He also has a killer instinct; one of the first things he did was murder VanZant as punishment for shooting Buu’s friend Mr. Satan. He also kicked Good Buu’s ass, and Evil Buu started eating him after Good Buu turned into chocolate from the reflected chocolate beam.

It turns out that Evil Buu had some weird side effects from eating Good Buu chocolate, causing him to transform into Super Buu. Fusion Buu
So far, in the ongoing Dragon Ball Z In stories, the act of blending has become a major component of storytelling. Characters can fuse their powers and entire selves together to create a newer, more powerful being. While it’s mostly a trick of the good guys, the world trembles when Buu starts doing it.
Buu is easily defeated by Gohan and realizes that he needs help to achieve victory. In order to do this, he used his special absorption powers to successfully fuse with Gotenks. This changes his appearance in some significant ways, from a more human-looking face to him wearing a jacket similar to Gotenks’ jacket. He saw more than just appearances, though; Fusion Buu also managed to absorb some of Gotenks’ power. He could potentially remain in this form indefinitely, however, when Gotenks split back into two bodies, Fused Buu lost his power.
Piccolo Buu
After the fusion with Gotenks ended, Buu eventually absorbed Piccolo.Although there are many Dragon Ball Z Fans mistakenly believe that Piccolo is a warrior, but the truth is that absorbing him gives Buu a dangerous tactical advantage.
Absorbing Piccolo gave Buu a level of intelligence he never had before. Initially, Buu had both Piccolo and Gotenks existing within him, but later, he was reduced to a happy green Namekian. With Piccolo’s memories and knowledge, he is able to psychologically torture Gohan and also use dangerous new abilities such as a special beam cannon.
Ultimate Buu
Buu’s “ultimate” form represents his most dangerous fusion yet. While fused with Piccolo, Buu successfully achieved his goal of absorbing Gohan. At this point in the series, Gohan is one of the most powerful warriors on Earth, meaning Ultimate Buu has unprecedented power.
As with other fusions, absorbing Gohan causes Buu to change his clothes. Specifically, he started wearing Gohan’s red uniform. He also displays new abilities beyond his costume changes, as his body has enhanced physical and mental defenses to help him deal with Goku and Vegeta as they begin to fight back from within. While this is the most powerful Buu they’ve faced yet, there are other forms with more raw power.
Nam Buu
The so-called “Nabuu” refers to the way Buu absorbed the Supreme Kai Queen of the South who lived in another world. Unfortunately, fans haven’t seen Buu do much in this form, so his strength is hard to pinpoint.
The only real data on Southern Buu’s power level comes from watching Southern Supreme Kai fight.in one of the fastest scenarios dragon ball Fans considered Gai to be filler, but he was able to hold his own in a fight against Kid Buu, one of Buu’s strongest forms. Kid Buu
Young Buu’s recklessness gives him an advantage over most of his peers. He has immense power and nothing can really stop him. He doesn’t care who he kills, including himself.
In terms of lethality, it’s not much worse than Kid Buu. The destruction of Earth resulted in the deaths of billions of people, including famous heroes like Piccolo and Trunks. Fortunately, Goku and Vegeta were able to team up with Dende and the other characters to use the Dragon Balls to resurrect everyone. At this point, Super Saiyan Goku and his energy bomb are enough to destroy Kid Buu. However, this isn’t the last we see of him.
Orb (young)

It took Uub some time to regain his confidence, but soon he was able to hold his own against Goku.

After all the fusion of Buu’s different form traits, it makes sense that everything would come full circle and he would merge with himself. Uub had no choice, so he fused with Majin Buu, who returned as a pure good guy. By merging, they become a powerful character named Majuub!
Orb receives a predictable power boost from this fusion. Additionally, in the fused form, he gains Majin Buu’s ability to turn people into candy. While Majubu gained much of his raw power from Majin Buu, he retained much of Goku’s tactical training. Viewers see this best when he allows himself to be turned into chocolate and eaten by Baby Vegeta. It turns out this is a conspiracy to attack Baby from within. This bought Goku enough time to destroy the baby, while Majubu remained fused and continued to fight increasingly powerful foes for years.
