How does summoning work in Dragon Ball Legends?

Sometimes the pods can be replaced with scattered Dragon Balls, Flying Nimbus, or pole surfing Mercenary Tao, guaranteeing at least one extreme or spark unit. Location, such as Dying Planet Namek, the Land of Ice or the Stratosphere, also affects call quality, with certain locations guaranteeing at least one extreme unit.
During the charging phase, Goku powers up for battle. If he turns into a Super Saiyan, at least one extreme unit is guaranteed. In rare cases, Goku may already be in Super Saiyan Blue form and Frieza may be in his Golden form, guaranteeing two spark units. During this phase, Vegeta and trunks, Vegeta herself, or Bardock can also appear, each with their own guaranteed units.
The confrontation involves Goku and Frieza trading blows. The outcome of their conflict determines the probability of obtaining extreme or sparkling units. In certain scenarios, SSJ3 Goku defeats Frieza using Dragon Fist, guaranteeing a Sparking unit.
After the summon animation, rewards are offered in the form of ki orbs. The color and appearance of the orbs indicate the unit’s rarity, with blue for Hero, purple for Extreme, yellow for Sparking, and blue with a special animation for Ultra Rarity. There are also “Fakeout” orbs that initially appear as Hero or Extreme orbs, but explode into Sparking orbs.
