The man in a frenzy repeatedly swings at the security guard, who wisely steps back and does nothing in return except to push the assailant away when he gets too close.
The man can be heard swearing at the security guard as customers and other store workers watch and then follow the store as it moves around the vegetable aisle.
At the beginning of the second clip, a rambunctious man tries to throw 24 cases of Coca-Cola Zero cans at a security guard.
But, immediately after that missile, the man is knocked down by a member of the public who runs in from a blind spot and pulls the man down.
The customer throws the pest onto his back, where the much larger and stronger hero holds him down with his hands on his neck.
“Stay down, fuck you, there are kids here,” the man is heard shouting at the aggressor.
The game can then be heard pleading “take me out, take me out, take me out” from the buyer’s hold.
The customer then flips him onto his front and holds the man by the neck before trying to push him away.
The rampaging man then has enough strength to stand up and walk away, just as the security guard tries to kick his legs out from under him.
The video then ends with the man walking towards the front of the store to get his jacket.
Hampshire Police said they attended the break-in on Thursday after being called at 6.03pm.
They said: “A 29-year-old man from Havant has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, racially aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm, shoplifting and possession of a Class B controlled drug.”
The Sun has learned that Tesco is assisting the police investigation.
