Sir Patrick Stewart has a goal to achieve and nothing stands in his way — not even the kindness of Drew Barrymore!

Paramount+ Super Bowl LVIII spot contains Star Trek: Picard actor, 83, Barrymore, 48, and an entire cast of fan-favorite stars and characters (including Arnold from Hey Arnold!Dora the Explorer, Knuckles and Peppa Pig) from the original and streaming service’s library as they attempt to reach the top of the brand’s iconic, eponymous Paramount Mountain.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is one of the hopeful adventurers, though even he struggles to cast a rope to the top of the cliff, which reaches 12,639 feet. “I can’t lift that thing up. If it was football, I could get to the top.”

“What about the soccer ball head? Let’s throw the kid in,” suggests Stewart, as Nickelodeon’s Arnold Hey Arnold! he seems shocked.

Barrymore – who is mum to Olive, 11, and Frankie, 9 – isn’t taking the suggestion lightly. “What? No! That’s stupid thinking,” he chimes in enthusiastically. “Don’t throw away Arnold.”

“You can’t throw away a child!” host The Drew Barrymore Show he adds, as well as other climbers including Survived host Jeff Probst turned him on.

Stewart then reveals only how determined he is. “Barrymore, shut up! Unless you’d rather freeze to death,” he says hilariously, as the actress/talk show host looks on in shock.

After deciding that no one else is “built for the moment,” Stewart picks up the beloved football-headed boy. The moment is soundtracked by the band Creed — rocking atop a snowy peak, fittingly playing their 1999 hit “Higher.”

“Watch and learn,” he says, removing his coat to reveal a (rather dated) football uniform.

“It’s the fifth quarter and we need a hole in one before the seventh inning,” he says as Tagovailoa, Barrymore and the others look on a little confused.

“Be brave,” the actor tells the ’90s cartoon before launching into Creed’s performance.

While Arnold doesn’t quite make it, Stewart doesn’t give up — especially when he suggests launching “someone made of pigskin,” leading to the death of fellow Paramount+ climber Peppa Pig.

It is not Star Trek legend makes his first appearance in a major Super Bowl ad. The actor previously starred in the Paramount+ video A Mountain of Entertainment three years ago.

Fans watching the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers face off in Super Bowl LVIII will be able to catch the game on Paramount+ as it airs live on February 11th at 6:30pm ET on CBS.
