The driver who allegedly caused a fatal car accident in which NFL’s novelty killed Khyree Jackson was charged with 13 points on Thursday, January 2 Washington PostESPN I. Minnesota Star-Tribune.
Cori Clingman was arrested for allegedly negligent murder, murder as a result of negligence of driving and drunken driving and several other points on Thursday, January 2nd, by Star-tribune. He is currently in custody waiting on Friday, January 24, he listened to Prosecutor Aisha Braveboy, according to ESPN. Clingman, who is now 24, is facing a maximum of 30 years in prison.
Jackson, who was 24 years old, on Saturday, July 6th, was in a “triple fatal car accident” in his home country, Maryland, according to a statement from the Maryland State Police. Former teammates from high school in Isaiah Hazel High School (23) and Anthony Lytton, JR., 24, also killed in a collision.

Silver Infiniti Q50, Chevrolet Impala and Dodge Charger were involved in collisions at 3:14. Clingman drove Infiniti with two passengers inside. Chevrolet only had the driver inside.
Jackson, who was supposed to make his debut in NFL this fall while Rookie’s Rokie Back Broken Dodge Charger’s passenger headquarters. Hazel was driving a vehicle and Lytton was in the back seat.
“Investigators believe Clingman tried to change the straps as he drove at high speed when she hit the Dodge charger and then hit Chevrolet Impala,” police said, according to ESPN. “The charger then traveled to the right of the roadway and hit several stumps of trees where the vehicle rested.”
Clingman and passengers Infiniti in their infinity, as well as the Impala driver, survived without injuries.
Jackson and Hazel were declared dead at the scene. Lytton was transported to a hospital, where he was declared dead.

Braveboy said an investigation into the accident. The lawyer also said that Clingman’s blood alcohol content was “at least” above the legal limit of 0.08% in Maryland, according to ESPN.
Braveboy also said one or more vehicles traveled “very high” at a speed before the collision. She would not specify which car accelerates. According to Star-tribuneCourt records show that Clingman has been quoted twice because of the 2018 too fast drive. In one of the incidents, Clingman reportedly went 100 mph in a 55 mph zone.

At the time of the accident, Jackson was a month away from his 25th birthday and was expected to join Vikings for the 2024-25 season. He was a team of the fourth round of the team in the 2024 NFL draft.
After his death, Vikingi donated $ 20,000 for the expenses for Jackson’s funeral, and also paid their $ 827,148 to sign a bonus on his estate.
He had previously played for the University of Alabama and the University of Oregon. Hazel played as a defensive back at Maryland University and UNC-Charlotte.
