Dua Lipa and Seth Meyers Get Matching Star Tattoos While Drinking Shots on Late Night: ‘Bonded for Life’

Dua Lipa just added another tattoo to her collection — and Seth Meyers joined her!

While appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyersthe “Dance the Night” singer and host got a sassy new ink by celebrity tattoo artist Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy.

While sharing a few snaps together in front of Meyers’ studio audience, Lipa and Meyers agreed to get matching tattoos after originally planning to do so the last time Lipa was on the show. However, Meyers, who had never gotten a tattoo before, was hooked when Lipa changed the game.

The two were going to get the same points, but Lipa said they should get stars instead. “Are you pulling a fast one for me?” Meyer asks jokingly before taking another shot.

Lipa takes a seat at Bang Bang first and tells Meyers, “We’re going to be, like, bonded for life.” He gets a tattoo on his foot before it’s Meyers’ turn. Bang Bang offers to let Lipa tattoo the host, but he refuses (to cheers from the crowd), and Meyers tells the artist he wants it on his leg — somewhere he’ll forget.

Meyers goes through the tattoo (not without another shot) and another joke to Bang Bang about the pain, but in the end, the two come out with the same tattoos.

Lipa, 28, already has a small collection of tattoos on her body, including a palm tree on the back of her hand, the word “angel” on her shoulder and “245” on her left arm to symbolize the number of shows on her 2018 tour.

Meyers, 50, on the other hand, has considerably less ink than the Grammy-winning artist. However, he became the proud owner of a face full of Sharpie tattoos in 2022, when he drank around the clock with Post Malone for part of his show.

After drinking one too many concoctions, the “Circles” singer took a marker to Meyers’ face to draw several of the tattoos he requested, including the Pittsburgh Steelers logo, the Flash logo and his Frisbee Italian Greyhound.

Lipa and Meyers were in the good hands of Bang Bang, one of the most famous celebrity tattoo artists. He has tattooed Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, LeBron James, Cara Delevingne, Adele and many others. The New York-based artist, who pioneered the revolutionary rewriteable Magic Ink (which launches on January 17), is also responsible for the gorgeous rose on the back of Selena Gomez’s neck a few years ago.

“Watercolor on @selenagomez,” he captioned the photo on Instagram in December 2021. “Thank you for always being wonderful🖤.” He shared a close-up look at the star’s new inked days before giving fans the close-up they’ve been wanting. His work was a beautiful pink flower with black ink dripping from the bottom.
