The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is getting more and more star-studded!
October 19 Busta Rhymes, Method Man, Dr. Dre and The Roots, as well as R&B stars Ella Mai and Lucky Daye are scheduled to present awards and perform during the Cleveland event at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Famous pop stars Demi Lovato and Dua Lipa will also appear on stage. Julia Roberts is also scheduled to appear at the event.
On the country front, Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and Mac McAnally will be among those to grace the guests. Some previous guests, such as beloved singer-songwriter James Taylor, Roger Daltrey of The Who, Sammy Hagar of Van Halen and Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, will be in attendance.

From Cher to Ozzy Osbourne and Mary J. Blige, meet the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Famers.
This year, Mary J. Blige, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & the Gang, Ozzy Osbourne and A Tribe Called Quest are slated to join the Rock Hall of Fame.
Alexis Korner, John Mayall and Big Mama Thornton will also be honored with awards for musical influence, while Jimmy Buffett, MC5, Dionne Warwick and Norman Whitfield will receive awards for musical excellence. Atlantic Records co-founder Ahmet Ertegun also has an award in his name, which will go to television and music producer Suzanne de Passe.
Last year, Cher and Foreigner slammed the Rock Hall for not being inducted in the past, even though they both appeared in 2024. In the December 2023 episode. The Kelly Clarkson ShowCher said, “I can go on my own you know what.” In April 2023, Foreigner took a similarly humorous approach with a fake post announcing their induction.

How Cher and Foreigner finally became members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame after the organization exploded
“In an unprecedented move, the entire Rock & Roll Hall of Fame committee met separately to nominate Stranger,” the announcement read. “I believe the whole board realized that Foreigner had as many hits as Fleetwood Mac, just one less than the Eagles, and more than Journey and many other Hall of Famers.”
To be eligible for nomination, an artist must have released their first commercial recording 25 or more years ago, or by 1999, according to the foundation.
The 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on October 19 at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland at 7:00 PM ET/4:00 PM PT and will be streamed on Disney+ immediately following the broadcast.
