Dua Lipa shares an awkward moment she had at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards!

On Tuesday, the 28-year-old “Dance the Night” singer posted a behind-the-scenes video of herself struggling to sit in her dress at the annual film and TV awards, which she attended for the first time on Sunday.

In the awkward footage, Lipa slowly sank into her chair as she leaned back at a table at the Beverly Hilton, where the Globes were being held, while other guests chatted.

“Thank you @goldenglobes for such a great night last night,” the nominee captioned her post, jokingly adding, “— the only thing missing was a recliner.”

In another photo shared by the singer, Lipa laughed as she stood in the sprinter’s van in her stunt dress – appearing to see the funny side of the situation.

Lipa otherwise looked sensational at the 81st Golden Globe Awards on Sunday. For the event, she wore a Haute Couture bustier dress in black velvet embellished with embroidered gilt bone in diamond and gold designed by Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli.

The elegant design was inspired by Elsa Schiaparelli’s collaboration with Salvador Dalí in 1938, stylist Lorenzo Posocco shared on Instagram.

Lipa accentuated her look at the awards ceremony with a gold-embellished wrap necklace from Tiffany & Co. and wore deep pink lips and red nails.

It was nominated at this year’s Golden Globe Awards for Best Original Song for a Hit Barbie soundtrack single, “Dance the Night,” along with Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt and Caroline Ailin.

The “Houdini” singer lost to Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell, who won with “What Was I Made For?” — another song also featured on Barbie sound track.

In a recent roundtable discussion, Lipa shared how the disco sound of “Dance the Night” was discovered when she was joined by Eilish, 22, to discuss their nominated songs.

“Greta said that she was inspired by disco,” explained Lipa. “I was just thinking about the disc and the community it brings, and the way it brings people together. It’s always been a genre of music that was kind of a release when things weren’t going right in the world.”

“And so ‘Dance the Night’ was created specifically for Barbie’s best day ever, which then results in her thinking about death. So, it’s actually about these dualities of life and the ability to combine the two,” added the singer.
