Dustin Hoffman is the proud father of six children: Karina, Jenna, Jake, Rebecca, Maxwell and Ali.

Dustin and his first wife, ballerina-turned-actress Anne Byrne, married in 1969 and are the parents of daughters Karina and Jenna. In March 1983, Dustin and Lisa had their second child, a daughter named Rebecca Lillian Hoffman.

“There were no posters on the wall,” Dustin told TIME magazine in October 2017. “Growing up, I was made fun of because I’d say, ‘Let me put this up, you’re going to love it.’ They would say, ‘Is it black and white or color?’ I would say, ‘Black and white’. Not! ‘Is it a documentary about bugs?’ I’d say, ‘Yeah, but you’ll love it!’ ”

He added: “They taught me not to listen. But I don’t have a child who has seen everything I’ve done. I don’t want to bother them like that.”

Alexandra Lydia Hoffman, 36

Alexandra “Ali” Lydia Hoffman was born on October 27, 1987 and is the youngest member of the Hoffman clan. She recorded a small episodic role in her father’s film Mile of the moon (2002).

Ali dated actor Jonah Hill in the early 2010s, and Hill’s first family vacation Hoffman even inspired a James Franco romantic comedy Why Him?.

“Jonah was talking to Ben Stiller on the set once, and he said, ‘Oh man, I’m going on vacation with Dustin Hoffman. Like, I don’t know him.’ And it was very early in his relationship,” Franco told Dustin during their “Actors About Actors” interview. Diversity in 2017.
