Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is having a little fun this holiday season!
The multi-talented entertainer paid tribute to his younger self on Monday by poking fun at one of his infamous outfits.
“Merry Christmas, from your care 💯 friend. 90s Rock 🖤🎄👊🏾 🥃#TappinFannys 👋🏾,” the 51-year-old captioned an Instagram video of him recapping one of his previously viral style choices.
In transmission, Moana star wore a black turtleneck with long sleeves and jeans which he accessorised with a gold chain and a black handbag. His signature bald head was covered in a ’90s-appropriate faux hairdo.

As the video played, the former WWE star performed his own version of the classic holiday song “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire).’”
“Chestnuts are roasting on an open fire/ 90’s rock grabs you by the nose/ I’m walking down the hall/ I look cool as fuck/ just take a look at my amazing outfit/ Everybody knows/ turkey and camel’s finger , I mean, mistletoe/ it helps that the season be bright/ even though it’s been said, many times, in many ways/ Merry Christmas to you,” he sang.
Johnson took a selfie over his clothes, walking around the house before stopping in front of the Christmas tree.

He proudly showed off the outfit he can’t escape in a July 2014 Facebook post.
During an interview when he was named PEOPLE’s 2016 Sexiest Man Alive, The Rock talked about his style choices from the past.
“Okay, here’s what it’s all about,” Black Adam the actor explained to PEOPLE at the time. “It takes a lot of confidence to carry a bag. Put your thumb in your purse. I take a look.”
He added: “I have a tissue under my elbow because I felt my turtleneck was expensive. The funniest thing about this picture is that this is not a joke. This is how I left the house. Like, Hey honey, that’s it, right?’”
Rock’s outfit once again became a hit on social media when his friend and Jumanji: The Next Level Costar Kevin Hart wore the set as his 2019 Halloween costume.
“I killed it with my Halloween costume this year… @therock had the guts to take a stand with me. 😂😂😂😂😂 ”, the 44-year-old comedian commented with the video on Instagram.
In the video, a group of kids playing pranks visited Johnson. After the kids got their merchandise, Hart appeared dressed as his friend.
“Why are you dressed like that?” Johnson asked.
“Because it’s my costume! All you have to do is go to the costume shop and say, ‘Make me look stupid,’” Hart joked, striking the same pose as in Johnson’s old photo.
