Dwayne Johnson had a sweet father-daughter reunion at the 2025 Golden Globes!
At the event on Sunday, January 5, the 52-year-old actor walked the red carpet in Los Angeles alongside his 23-year-old daughter Simone Garcia Johnson.
The proud dad brought his signature outfit, wearing a lavender satin shirt and matching jacket, which he teamed with black formal trousers and black shoes. He added a chain necklace and tinted glasses.
Dwayne’s movie Moana 2 was nominated for the best animated film.
“From everything I love Moanawhat I love most are my daughters, all three of my daughters, they see themselves in them MoanaDwayne said Hey! on the red carpet. “And I think this idea of encouraging and empowering our young women and how important that is. And I can run around, with my long hair like Maui, and say, ‘Cheehoo,’ and encourage our young women — it’s great.”

“You can be trained, as many fathers are, to fix things. Just having a greater ability to listen and be gentler and gentler really gave me that ability to solve any problem, but with them compared to for them,” he shared.
In November 2024, all three of Dwayne’s daughters joined him at the film’s premiere Moana 2 in Oahu, Hawaii. In the photos, the whole family wears floral leis around their necks, and the actor’s two younger girls match in orange, pink and yellow lace-up dresses. Simone opted for a long, floral dress and a choker with a pendant.

In 2018, Simone was awarded the title of Golden Globe Ambassador, formerly known as Miss Golden Globe.
“As we look forward to the 75th anniversary of the Golden Globes, members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association have decided to expand this role to embody the HFPA’s philanthropic efforts throughout the year,” HFPA President Meher Tatna said at the time. “The honoree will now be called a Golden Globes Ambassador, and we couldn’t think of a better representative than Simone to carry on this tradition, as her values closely reflect everything the HFPA stands for.”
