Dwayne Johnson Says He’s Contacted Paris Museum to Update His Wax Figure: ‘Starting with My Skin Color’

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wants some changes to his new wax figure.

On Sunday, the actor, 51, shared a video of comedian James Andre Jefferson Jr. mocking Johnson’s statue at the Grévin Museum in Paris. The skin color of the wax figure has been criticized for appearing several shades lighter than the color of the star.

“You made The Rock look like David Beckham,” Jefferson Jr. said. in your video. “Looks like The Rock is about to become royalty!”

Reposting the comedian’s clip, Johnson said he would be contacting his “friends” at the museum to work on “updating” his wax figure.

“I knew my boy @jamesjeffersonj had this stone wax statue on a baking scope 😂💣🔥,” Johnson joked. “Is this how you felt when you lost the Little Mermaid?” 🤣 Legit belly laughed at this ☝🏾.”

“For the record, my team will be contacting our friends at the Grevin Museum in Paris, France 🇫🇷 so we can work on ‘updating’ my wax figure with some important details and improvements – starting with my skin color 🤣✊🏾💪🏾,” the Black Adam star added.

He then concluded his message with the words: “And the next time I’m in Paris, I’ll stop by and have a drink with me 🥃 😉.”

In a statement from the Grévin Museum per Deadline, the museum agreed with Johnson and said it would “correct this as soon as possible.” They also added that they would “send him new photos when they are completed.”

“We are waiting for him when he comes to Paris and the Grevin Wax Museum to celebrate with a cup of champagne,” they concluded.
