DWTS’ Lindsay Arnold Celebrates First Thanksgiving as Family of 4: ‘Beyond Blessed’

Lindsay Arnold celebrated her first Thanksgiving as a mom of two!

Former Dancing with the stars Pro (29) shared several photos from her vacation on Instagram, including a family photo with her husband Samuel Lightner Cusick and daughters Sage Jill (3) and 6-month-old June.

The post began with a cute photo of a family of four standing in front of the water. Wearing matching cream and white ensembles, they were grinning from ear to ear as they looked into the camera.

In another photo, a professional dancer carries her daughters as the sun sets behind them. Arnold also included a photo with his sisters, their mother and additional members of his extended family.

She shared in the caption, “Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours 🫶 grateful and beyond blessed to call these people my family 🫶 #thanksgiving #happythanksgiving.” In a TikTok video, she also showed a glimpse of her and her daughters walking on the sand during their vacation.

Arnold announced her retirement in August 2022 DWTS focus on being a mom. “This was one of the hardest decisions to make, but in the end I chose what I believe is best for me and my family. DWTS has been a part of my life for over 10 years and when I say I love the show with all my heart, I mean it,” she shared on Instagram.

After her younger sister, Rylee, turned pro for Season 32, she called it a “full-circle moment.”

“To say I’m proud is truly an understatement. This girl is the hardest worker, beyond talented, humble and so kind and she’s absolutely going to kill it this season,” she wrote alongside photos of the two on Instagram. She also took the opportunity to reflect on her experience on the show.

“I clearly remember doing the same thing at 19 and had no idea how blessed and changed my life would be by doing DWTS, and I’m so excited to watch my sister shine and now have her moment,” she wrote. In July, she shared with LJUDI that the life of the family of four “is going great”.

“Personally, I feel that the jump from 0-1 was more powerful and a bigger adjustment than the jump from 1-2,” she said. As for how her daughter Sage has been adjusting to her new sister, she told PEOPLE that the child is “obsessed” with her.

“Our first daughter Sage is obsessed with her little sister June and seeing them together makes all the crazy days more than worth it. There are definitely more moving parts in our time now, but that just means more joy and love,” she said.
