Eastenders Legend Natalie Cassidy leaves soap forever – after playing Sonia Fowler for almost 32 years.
Last night, the bosses held firmly focused on whether her very beloved character would be killed, but confirmed that she would shoot her last scenes next month around the mandatory week of the 40th anniversary.

A special week, which begins on Monday, February 17th, will see a huge explosion through the soap iconic Queen Vic Pub, with a few very beloved characters caught in the explosion.
Natalie, 41, told the bosses that she left the hit BBC one soap last summer, and the rumors are full that her character can be killed during the 40th -year soap.
The source of Eastenders said, “40. The week was always shocking, but can I really kill Sonia Fowler?
“The spectators watched her grow up on the screen and was at the heart of some of the biggest soap stories.
“It would be a real shock of soap to die during the 40th, but it will equally be the one that viewers will never forget.”
Natalie, who joined the BBC One Soap in 1993, at the age of only ten, said: “I feel extremely sad to write this, but also very excited.
“After another 11 solid years back in the square, I decided it was time to move on to pastures new. Eastenders is in my bones, so I will never forget where I started my career and continue to love the show.
“Thank you to Chris Clenshaw for the opportunity to be so much of the 40th anniversary – it is honor. We see, Sonia, go, but never forgotten.”
Natalie’s character Sonia is currently pregnant with the baby killer Reiss Colwell Unconscious that he ran into his ex -wife Debbie, a crime he was later charged with.
Fortunately, the jury found that her unclear murders after Reissa recorded a video of Sisters’ sisters of sister Biance Bivance Butcher who acknowledged the murder.

But with Bianca, played by actress Patsy Palmer, 52, after Twisted Reiss closed him for months and forced to make recording, it’s just a matter of time before the truth comes out.
The source added: “There is so much bandage and turning to leadership up to the 40th anniversary. Sonia has no idea that Bianca is locked and that Reiss is behind everything. But while she is preparing for birth in the coming weeks, things will start to fall apart.
“The bosses pulled out all the stops so that the soap would be big 40. The most dramatic and most wonderful week in Eastenders history.
“And even though it will be the last time we see Sonia Fowler’s character to Albert Square after Natalie’s decision to leave, everyone will have to wait and see if he will do it alive.”
Great loss
Talking about Natalie’s leaving the soap, top chief Chris Clenshaw said: “Over the last 31 years in Eastenders, Natalie has been involved in some of the most famous and explosive stories of the show.
“Her portrait of Sonia made her solid fans among viewers.
“I will not reveal the final details that relate to her exit, but I can say that she will take on a central role in the story of the 40th anniversary of the week a truly unimaginable drama that will forever change the lives of those in Walford.
“I would like to thank Natalie for her time in Eastenders and I wish her all the best for the future.”
Eastenders Dramatic Week 40. Anniversary will start on Monday, February 17, and a special live episode will also appear.
Other stories include the hard man of Phil Mitchell who is thinking about suicide that will see his brother Grant, played by Ross Kemp, and actress Jaime Winstone reprinted her role as a young Peggy Mitchell in a special flashback.
Fans will also find out who tried to kill Cindy Beale on Christmas, and in the soap, the first spectators will also decide whether Denise Fox will reunite with the alienated husband Jack Branning or choose secreting fans of the bad boys Ravi Gulati.
Over the past year, Natalie spread wings outside Albert Square.
She launched her own BBC Podcast with Gavin & Stacey’s Joanna Page the rejected Telly.
2021 played a one -off role in a hit drama homeland.
And the TV viewers are convinced that she is the celebrity who hides in Bush in the current ITV series masked singers.
