Ed Amatrudo began his career as a theatre artist, appearing in plays such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Oliver Twist, Treasure Island, Virginia Woolf, The Temporary Partner, The Comedy of Errors, The Merchant of Venice and Othello. He made his television debut in 1989 in the small role of Tommy T in the TV series Miami Vice.
In 1990, he made his film debut as “Peter” in the movie Chains of Gold.
