Ed Sheeran is celebrating a historic moment in his career.

The “Bad Habits” singer, 33, revealed that he had just become the first international music artist to hold a concert in Bhutan. On Saturday, January 25, Sheeran shared a video on Instagram showing highlights in the South Asian country as he reflects on the milestone.

“I had the honor of being the first international artist to play with Bhutan last night,” he wrote in the caption, referring to his January 24 performance at the Changlimithang Stadium in the capital, Thimphu. “What a concert, what a country, what a beautiful place with amazing people.”

His visit to Bhutan seems to have had quite an effect on him, as he continued: “Lemme know if I can move there, please and thank you.”

Sheeran concluded his headline by thanking the country for hosting him and his crew on tour for a “historic show” and shared his hope to “see you again soon.”

In the video, the four-time Grammy winner first shared more thoughts on his musical. “It’s crazy that this is the first international concert here,” he said as he stood next to the stage at the Bhutan venue. “I hope there will be many more to come.”

He also revealed that he had the opportunity to share a meal with the country’s royal couple, King Jigme Khesar and Queen Jetsun Pema. “Yesterday I went to dinner with the king and queen and they said, ‘We just want people to come to the country who want to love and respect the country and understand the ideals.’ ”
