Former Manchester United and Netherlands goalkeeper Edwin Van Sar is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after suffering a brain haemorrhage. The news was released on Friday by his former member of the Ajax club. Currently, the 52-year-old man is stable in the hospital. His ex Ajax issued a statement on Twitter quoted by Sky Sports and stated that Edwin had a hemorrhage around his brain. He is currently in the hospital and is being cared for in the intensive care unit and is in a stable and conscious condition.
He added that he will inform everyone after concrete information reaches him. However, the club did not provide further details about the goalkeeper’s condition and what led to his hospitalization.
