Eighties pop star, 57, has barely aged a day in 35 years since huge hit as she makes rare appearance with husband

POP icon Lisa Stansfield looked just like her best days when she made a rare appearance with her husband this week.

The 80s star, now 57, showed off her natural beauty as she opted for a matching look as she strolled through Hampstead, London with Ian Devaney.

The All Around The World singer was instantly recognizable despite wearing a hat – 34 years after her hit single.

Looking very chic, she paired her hat with an all-black outfit, including a designer YSL belt.

Lisa and her former bandmate Ian have been married since 1998.

Before that, she had a four-month marriage with the Italian designer Augusto Grassi, with whom she even briefly moved to Italy.

Lisa and Ian first met at school when they were 14 and formed a band together.

She later wrote The All Around World with him, which became a huge hit and led to several awards.

Speaking about the song, she previously told The Guardian: “I came into the studio and Ian was messing around on the piano. He had a melody and I just started singing, ‘Been around the world and I, I, I…’ Everyone laughed, but Ian said, ‘Wait, that’s really good.’

“It just came to me – it was nonsense, but it felt really good. ‘Me, me, me’ became the main hook. We had no idea how massive it would become.”

Despite this, Lisa says she doesn’t like watching the video again, saying it “haunts” her.

Speaking to Lorraine in 2018, she said: “I had a weird, fat face. It was done in a hurry. And 30 years later, it still haunts me.”

The star also admitted she struggled with fame after the hit, saying: “It got to the point where I just couldn’t leave the house or go to the shops, it made me twitch. [Lisa and Ian] he ended up living in Ireland for 14 years to get away from it.”
