For many years, Ellen Webber gave selflessly of her time to the Wiregrass Humane Society, serving in various capacities. Her devotion was excessive; it was a deep enthusiasm that shone through every aspect of her involvement.
Ellen first became involved with the humane society as a board member, where her strategic acumen and persistent dedication were instrumental in determining the future direction of the organization. Ellen was a foster carer, which allowed her to extend her home and heart to many animals in need in addition to her board duties. Her kind disposition provided animals in need with loving and caring temporary homes while they waited for their forever homes in a safe haven. In addition to saving lives, Ellen’s fostering efforts have produced tons of adorable success stories about animals finding their ideal home.
