Emilia Clarke likes to let the good times roll with her loved ones.
“As someone who travels a lot for my job, I really try to live my life to the fullest with my friends and family when I have time,” the 37-year-old actress tells PEOPLE of her partnership with Pegasus Distillerie. “Those times are incredibly precious to me. So I always like to do things.”
The list of her activities is long – and sometimes includes alcohol. (Pegasus Distillery’s portfolio includes Pegasus Vodka, Eau d’Or liqueur and Orion Gin, which Clarke considers one of her favorite brand drinks.)
“When I drink, it’s because I’m celebrating being with family and friends, or celebrating an occasion, or whatever,” Clarke says.
“I love hanging out in the pub, but I also love going to a comedy show or going out to an amazing restaurant,” she adds, “or going to the theater or getting on a boat and going down the Thames, or going on holiday, making fun plans are always something that I love working with my friends and family.”

The locations changed as she got older. “I like going out with my friends, definitely. I like going to restaurants,” she says. “As I got older, you changed the club for a very nice restaurant. And then with my family, it’s more like when there’s a bunch of us there, so it would be home.”
One part of her socializing that’s essential no matter who she’s spending time with, Clarke says, is having a “perfectly curated playlist” — which she calls “a miracle.”
“When people first come in, you want something soft, something relaxed, something with a rhythm, like the feeling of good music, but nothing too intense. And then, as the night goes on, you crave something a little more like, get up and go,” she explains. “Then, as the night goes on, you want something really soft and really cold.”

Clarke has teamed up with Pegasus Distillery to become their new global brand ambassador, a role she is “really excited about”. The premium organic spirits brand was founded in France but now sells bottles direct to consumers through its website. (It also has spirits distributed in New York, California and Florida.)
Pegasus Distillery recently launched a new limited edition ultra-premium meteorite-infused vodka, aptly named Shooting Star, which Clarke says is “delicious” and “so good.”
“I just love the company,” she says. “Craftsmanship is at the heart of what they do and they really care about the ingredients that go into their products and how they’re made. I really appreciate that… as someone who enjoys drinking.”
