Out of all the bandits, Tim Drake is unique because he’s the only one looking for Bruce Wayne. After Jason Todd died at the hands of the Joker, Tim Drake deduced the fact that Bruce Wayne was Batman. He knows Batman will always need a Robin, and begs former Robin Dick Grayson to return to the role. But Dick has become Nightwing and has no plans to return to Batman. He explains that he doesn’t always know who he is, but being Robin comes with a lot of time-consuming responsibilities. Romantic trouble is a recurring theme in superhero comics for a number of reasons. It’s not that he’s afraid of putting people in danger or running out of time, it’s that he still doesn’t know what kind of person he is. But these heroes are still people with their own inner struggles and conflicts.
