EMMERDALE man Matthew Wolfenden began dating another woman before the end of his marriage to co-star Charley Webb was announced.
He enjoyed secret nightly meetings with a mystery woman — believed to be a personal trainer — between performances in Elf the Musical.

She met him regularly at the stage door of the Dominion Theater in west London, before they returned to his hole for the night.
They were seen holding hands twice before Matthew and his devastated wife Charley said they were divorcing.
And the night it was publicly announced that the marriage was over, he and his new wife kissed in front of the theater.
An onlooker said: “They looked like newlyweds or teenagers in love.

“The pictures will be a shock to poor Charley’s heart, even though her relationship with Matthew has unraveled.”
Matthew, 43, and Charley, 35, announced online on Wednesday that they were separating.
They married in 2018 and have three children – Buster, 13, Bowie, eight, and Ace, four.
Charley’s message read: “Matthew and I have decided to separate with love and respect. We remain friends and our priority is love for our children.”
Matthew said the same words, but hours later he was caught arm in arm with his new wife from Watford.
Charley and Matthew (43) met on the set of Emmerdale in 2007 and got engaged in 2009.
They divorced in 2013 for two years, and then had a surprise wedding in 2018.
Matthew recently left Emmerdale after 18 years playing David Metcalfe.
Charley played Debbie Dingle but left the soap two years ago and was most recently in ITV’s Yorkshire Ripper drama The Long Shadow
