Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) was immediately suspicious of Victor (Eddie Osei) and when he was accused he was defensive.

Assured her husband is innocent, Claudette (Flo Wilson) was horrified to find the necklace in Victor’s pocket.

Manpreet called the police while Victor made a hurried escape.

PC Swirling questioned Manpreet and Claudette on the theft.

Arriving home, Charles (Kevin Mathurin) was shocked to learn what has happened and he and Claudette rushed to find Victor after he fled the scene.

Charles was thrilled his mum finally saw his dad’s true colours and hasn’t changed into the good person she thought he was.

But then they get a shock when they found Victor in the church appearing to pray.

Charles and Claudette were left stunned to learn he was actually dead.

Claudette broke down in tears as she hugged Victor.

In recent weeks, we have seen Victor claim he has poor health.

Claudette looked after him, but Charles had his suspicions whether he was telling the truth thought he might be faking.

How will the Anderson family cope with the latest tragedy?

Viewers were left open-mouthed at the episode’s and character’s conclusion.
