ENGLAND fans scratched their eyes after spotting Harry Maguire marking his centre-back partner.
The Three Lions fell behind against Ukraine to Oleksandr Zinchenko’s first-half strike, before Kyle Walker equalized later in the first half as England drew 1-1.

But fans claimed to have seen Maguire defend against centre-back partner Marco Guehi before the ball went past him for Zinchenko to tap in for the opener.
Fans rushed to Twitter to comment on the Manchester United star’s defence.
One user remarked: “What the hell is Harry Maguire doing 💀.”
Another wrote: “New season of old Harry Maguire.”
“I just can’t deal with Southgate anymore,” wrote a third.
However, many fans jumped to the 30-year-old’s defence, pointing out that Maguire followed his marker before the goal.
One fan replied: “How is it his fault?”
Another asked: “So much wrong with this… Kyle Walker can defend can’t he? … so he’s not here Maguire? But that huge gap in the middle, who’s covering that?”

Another commented: “Is he the only player on the pitch? You’re going to sacrifice him at the club, and now him on national team duties.”
Maguire has continued to be on the bench this season at Man Utd and his selection in the latest England squad has caused controversy among English fans.
