Are Eric McCormack and his wife Janet Leigh Holden McCormack reconciling?
Despite news of their divorce last year, the couple attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 2024 Oscars Party together and posed smilingly for photos.
Eric, dressed in a smart black tuxedo, and Janet – who wore a silver sequined dress with long, sparkly gloves and a matching clutch – were also seen holding hands.
After 26 years of marriage, Janet filed for divorce from Will & Grace star, 60, in November 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences,” according to court documents. In the filing, she sought spousal support and asked the court to terminate Eric’s ability to receive spousal support.
Although she did not specify a date for the separation, the divorce filing was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court the day before Thanksgiving.
The couple first linked up in 1994 on the set of a CBS TV show Lonesome Dovewhere Janet worked as an assistant director and Eric played Colonel Francis Clay Mosby.

“I was just getting out of a relationship and I couldn’t believe it,” Eric recalled of their first meeting in 2007. Guard article. “I dated actresses, but Janet was different. She wore jeans, drove a truck.”
He revealed: “We had a secret affair in the first season. I mean, the dating team! In fact, it was much worse for her, because she shouldn’t have given preferential treatment to any of the actors.”

After dating for three years, the couple married in August 1997. In 2002, they welcomed their first and only child, son Finnigan Holden McCormack, 21.
‘Will & Grace’ cast: Where are they now?
In April 2020, the Emmy winner shared an Instagram post of the couple’s first official photo together. The video was taken in Lonesome Dove final party of the first season and dated December 1994.
“Coincidentally, this was our ‘coming out’ party. No one on the show knew we’d been dating for months. 🤯And *today* is my wife’s birthday!” he wrote in the title. “Happy birthday @janetmccormack #gratitude.”
