Facts/Trivia
- In an interview, while talking about her first coach Esha, Hiren Jaiswal said:
When she first came to train with me, she was like a normal 10-year-old kid. Typically, we start training at age 10 or 11, but we don’t want to stress her bones right from the start. We had her practice shooting 40-50 times in a sitting position, and later taught things like scope adjustment, which she quickly mastered. An only child, she was a spoiled child who initially had tantrums. “
- She will train under Indian shooting coach Abdul Kayyum Shah from 2022. In an interview, he said when talking about Esha,
Winning the adult gold medal by more than two points was a great motivation for Aisha. Competing against shooters like Manu Bhaker, Heena Sidhu and Shweta Singh in the finals and leading in all series except one speaks volumes about her mental strength. She stayed focused in all three finals and won the senior, junior and youth titles. This win will give her a lot of confidence. “
- To stay focused on her game, she practices yoga regularly.
- In her spare time, she enjoys painting, sketching, reading and photography.
