ESPN’s Adam Schefter is using Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift dating rumors to inspire his coverage!
As fans continue to wonder if Kelce and Swift are dating, following reports Tuesday linking the singer and football player, Schefter playfully addressed the rumors Friday on ESPN Sports center.
The NFL tight end, 33, was listed as questionable on the Kansas City Chiefs injury report after hyperextending his knee during a team practice, and the sports reporter decided to use the recent romance rumors as a source of inspiration while discussing the player with host Kevin Negandhi on the show on Fridays.
“Well, Kevin, he was limited in practice today, but he’s back on the court, he’s running around, he’s jumping, he’s playing,” Schefter said, referring to Kelce and interjecting Swift, 33, song titles.

“Clearly, Travis Kelce, at this point, is trying to shake it off and get back out there. He knows how much he’s needed and that he’s the Man.“
“It’s been a bit of a rough summer for Travis Kelce with that knee injury, but he can see the light of day, Kevin,” he continued. “Looks like he’s up for it. And Travis [Kelce] now he wants to play Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, despite the fact that he was limited today.”
Although the athlete did not address the romance rumors, his brother, Jason Kelce, shared them interview after the match Thursday night after the Philadelphia Eagles’ 34-28 win over the Minnesota Vikings that he “can’t comment” on his siblings’ love lives.
“Ever since Catching Kelce everyone was crazy about Travis’ love life,” Jason said, referring to his brother’s short-lived reality dating show. “I don’t really know what’s going on there, but I know Travis is having fun and we’ll see who he ends up with.”
The Kansas City Chiefs player opened up about his interest in dating the pop star during an episode of his and his brother’s podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, in July.
During the episode, he revealed that he tried to give Swift his phone number before stopping by her Eras Tour concert earlier this summer.
