Eva Mendes jokes about Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s on-screen romance in their new film.

On May 16, Mendes, 50, shared a picture of her partner Gosling, 43, kissing Blunt, 41, in promotional material for The Fall Guy on Instagram to promote the film as “FIRST non-superhero movie to open summer box office in 17 years,” as her caption reads.

“And maybe it didn’t break the box office, but it broke so many other records. I’m especially proud of this one,” she wrote, adding, “The proof is in my post — I don’t usually post pictures of my man kissing a baby, but Emily Blunt is so damn good at it.”

Mendes, who has been in a relationship with Gosling since 2011, additionally shared posts from X, formerly of Twitter, written by fans who praised Gosling’s performance in The Fall Guy.

Blunt recently talked about how she maintains chemistry with her co-stars for various films, even when she doesn’t particularly like the person. In a performance on April 30 at The The Howard Stern Show, the host asked: “Did you want to throw up” as she kissed her co-star on camera, to which she replied: “Absolutely. Absolutely.”

“I wouldn’t say it was some kind of extreme disgust, but I definitely didn’t enjoy it,” she said.

Blunt also took a moment during the segment to note that Gosling is an actor she enjoys working with. “I love his wife, Eva. I love their kids and I feel so lucky to be friends with a gem of a person like him,” she said.
