An animal lover’s search for baby turtles in their backyard has become the latest viral challenge to flood social media.

TikToker @gardenstatetortoise has amassed over 397,000 followers by sharing his love of adventure and animals.
He put his observational skills to the ultimate test by sharing footage of his search for baby turtles hiding in plain sight.
While the fence can easily be seen separating parts of the yard, the baby turtle is deceptively difficult to spot.
The color of the turtle’s shell helps it blend in almost imperceptibly with its surroundings.
Only those with 20/20 vision can find a baby turtle in the yard in nine seconds or less.

“Finding baby turtles in the yard over the summer!” gushed the TikToker.
He repeatedly shouted “look at this” as he walked through the grass looking for animals.
If you have a hard time spotting the baby turtle, try to get a closer look at the grassy area closest to the fence.

Nearly 71,000 viewers liked the video, and hundreds of people took to the comments section admitting that they wouldn’t have noticed the turtles in their backyard.
“Hell, I’d run over it or mow it down,” said one person.
“How the hell did you even find that,” wrote another.
“This turtle is tiny,” commented a third.
“Is that an adult on the right, about two meters away, blending into the path, shadow and grass?” added another.

Hami shared the clue as she lifted one of the logs in search of a hamster.
“People keep asking me how do I find my hamster?” said Hami. “These are her usual places to eat.”
