Everyone can see the fish but you have 20/20 vision if you can spot the shark hiding among them in 7 seconds

HIDDEN in the depths of the water is a shark that might take a keen eye to spot.

The mind-blowing optical illusion is certainly confusing, but figuring it out quickly can mean better eyesight than most.

The fish surrounding the brain are easy to spot, but there is more to the story.

Unsuspecting marine life could find themselves in serious danger with the creature lurking around.

At first glance, the fish seem safe – but one wrong move could change everything.

BABY SHARK

Marine life hides skillfully and a sharp eye might spot them.

“Master of camouflage, Frilled Wobbegong Eucrossorhinus dasypogon in a cave,” Iphish captioned the photo.

The underwater cave contained diverse flora and fauna.

“The Frilled Wobbegong Eucrossorhinus dasypogon is found in eastern Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and northern Australia,” the description reads.

“This ovoviviparous species can reach more than three and a half meters in length, the usual length being less than two meters. The tough skin is sometimes used for leather.

“The fringed wobbegong is threatened by extensive destruction of coral reef habitat [such as] pollution and fishing with dynamite, as well as the expansion of fisheries.

Anyone can see a group of monkeys – but you have 20/20 vision if you spot the odd one out in ten seconds or less

“A significant part of its habitat is protected in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. This specimen lies in a small cave in the outer reef at a depth of 14 m.

“This type of shark is primarily nocturnal. It’s morning, time to rest.”

Iphish also noted the amount of fish swimming around the predator.

“There’s a lot of orange cardinal fish Taeniamia fucata,” Iphish continued.

“The species occurs in the tropical Indo-Pacific Ocean.”

They also noticed even more unconscious fish wandering around the underwater cave.

“Some Twinspot Chromis elerae are also there, swimming upside down on the ceiling of the cave.”

If you’re still having trouble finding the shark, check the bottom of the cave, hidden in the ground.

HIDING THE SNAKE

The shark isn’t the only expert at hiding – other species also take a similar approach to catching a meal.

A snake hidden among the leaves also leaves many scratching their heads.

Its earthy hue makes it the perfect camouflage for the dirt in which it hides.
